The Progeny of the Black Pyramid by Ken L Jones has been accepted for this anthology, with thanks! I am now closing this anthology and will be sending it to Mark in a few days. Thank you to all who have sent in stories, this is a powerful anthology.

The final story has arrived, The Thing That Stalks The Dark by Kevin L Jones, is installed in the anthology. It brings the word count up to a point I am content with. I have to do my Introduction, read the stories one more time, and then send it to Mark, after which authors will receive PDF copies of their work to check one last time. We want this anthology to be superb! And it will be, you have sent in some wonderful imaginative stories. Thank you to every one who has sent their work.

I'm surprised it took so long! I'm looking forward to reading it.

far fewer stories came in than I expected. Having said that, of the nine other anthologies I am currently editing, three have been in the making for a very long time. In fact one, Spring Fever, is way below my other word totals where the companion volumes, Summer Thrills, Fall Shudders and Winter Chills (Static Movement) are all in print and have been for a while. There is no way to predict how quickly an anthology will fill, more's the pity.

When will more books be available on Amazon? I had a friend ask me to order her a copy and it has been a month since I placed the order, which she has already paid for.

I emailed the editor of this volume a month (or more) ago a question, and I've heard no response. I've since discovered the answer and am not happy.
My story was to be credited under my pen name, L. Lambert Lawson, as is clearly stated in the contract I signed. However, on the Amazon page (and the preview ToC), my name is clearly NOT L. Lambert Lawson. Instead, by real name was used--which I specifically directed your press not to use via the contract when I detailed my pen name.
This mistake on your press' part has cost you sales as I didn't buy the book and I didn't advertise the publication to anyone I know. That will wound, I believe, more than any more angry words typed here.

I should be noted, though, that my pen name is correct on the page with my story. However, it is not correct in the ToC.

Mr. Lawson, My apologies for not seeing this. I assumed the names were printed as you wanted them, and being that they were similar besides one being an initial instead of the first name assumed they were technically correct. The miscommunication with the editor is mine, and I take fault for it. All threads are locked until the matter is settled, and I will be removing the title from Createspace/ Amazon immediately. Red Skies apologizes profusely for the oversight. Please email me at mceditormc@gmail.com M. Crittenden

Thanks ladies and gentleman, the matter has been resolved. Printing of Tales of the Sword will be halted just briefly until the updated version is uploaded, so there will just be a momentary lull in its printing. Thank you for understanding.
